I have been going to Hilton Head for over 20 years!! You could say I
am an expert at the island events and places to visit. Hilton Head is a great
place to spend a summer. Whether going down to Sea Pines and having a drink at
Harbor Town or taking the kids to see Greg Russel. He is a great guy. Going out
on the charters to fish is also one of my things I like to do ( I always catch
a fish). The bike trials are another great way to spend part of your day. It's
like the trials go on for miles! Don't worry about finding a good place to eat,
there are tons of seafood restaurants. There is always a restaurant to let you
have what you have been craving for. If you're a golfer there are great golf
courses to challenge you. The beachs are wonderful and the service on Hilton

Just got back from 8 days. Had a wonderful time. Don't worry about
finding a place to eat or something to do. Just sit there and let it happen. We
didn't plan any of our days and had a wonderful relaxing time. Ended up in
Harbor Town, rode bikes, played golf, walked, sat, ate, drank and sat on the
beach a lot. I need some assistance please, In all of the places we ate I never
got my fill of she crab soup. If someone has an exceptionally good reciepe,
would you PLEASE e-mail it to me? This was our 9th time to the island and we
will be back in the fall. Thanks for the memories.

My husband and I started coming to HH in 97. We spent our 1st aniversary there and we go back every OCT. I was born on the west coast and I grow up in Va Beach, VA. I now live Charlotte, I really miss being surrounded by water. So my husband I travel a lot to the coast. From the NJ to the GA coast. My Favorite is HH Follow by Litchfield Beach. Our family thought we would try Myrtle Beach this year for vacation. We had gone to Hilton Head the previous 5 years. There is no comparison. We will be returning to the Island again. Being an 18 year old from California I was not excited about Hilton Head. My attitude was if I want to go to the beach I could be there in 20 minutes, why fly for 8 hours. But the agreement with my parents was a week at Disneyworld and a week at Hilton Head for a family reunion. I am so glad I went! Hilton Head was an awesome relaxing break from the fast pace of Disneyworld! I had so much fun enjoying the small town atmosphere and sandy beaches. I can hardly wait till our next family reunion! THERE IS NOWHERE ON EARTH LIKE HILTON HEAD ISLE-MY FAMILY AND I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR ABOUT 25 YEARS. IT HAS CHANGED ALOT-BECOMING MORE COMMERCIALIZED BUT AT LEAST IT STILL HAS PRESERVED THE NATURAL SURROUNDINGS. THE SAND IS THE WHITEST I HAVE SEEN AND THERE IS NOTHING LIKE TAKING A STROLL ON ALONG THE OCEAN AT SUNRISE. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT I COULD SAY ABOUT HILTON HEAD-THE DOLPHINS-THE PLANTATIONS, TENNIS, GOLF, BIKING, CRABBING, SUNRISE-SUNSET-MAJOR PHOTO OPPS.-FISHING -SAILING-THE MAJESTIC OAK TREES WITH MOSS STREWN THROUGHOUT THEIR BRANCHES AND OF COURSE GREGG RUSSELL IN SEAPINES-BUT THERE REALLY ARE NO WORDS THAT CAN DESCRIBE THE BEAUTY AND FEELING OF THIS EARTHLY PARADISE (lynneann@hiltonheadisland.com).

Just returned from a week spent in paradise (HHI). We love it there. It was our 9th time visiting and my kids think of it as the greatest place on earth. This year we brought our neighbours with us and they, too, fell in love with it. Can't wait to get back (mardi@mnsi.net).
I've been visiting Hilton Head for over 5 years now, and it is truly
heaven on earth! The people are great, the beach is amazing and the food,
delicious! Some favorites; Crabby Nicks, South Seaport Cafe. Friends of mine
own a new wine store on the island, More than wine, and it's turning out to be
a great little place. I'll be back next year and following years to come!

We can't wait to get back to the most beautiful island on the
eastcoast. Chris,my wife, and I try to spend as much time as possible in South
Carolina and on HHI. What we like most are the huge varity of sport activities

Hey everyone, Hilton Head is the best island for kids and adults.
Kids can ride bikes on tons of bike trails!!! And can also play golf, go
swimming, and millions more!!!! Adults can go fishing, play golf and millions
more too!!! I've been going to Hilton Head for 13 years. It is really neat.

I just recently started visiting the Web site for Hilton Head Island
and I think it's just great! My wife and I have been coming here to Hilton Head
for about 5 yrs and can't wait to retire here. We own a villa @ Palmetto Dunes
Queens Grant and come down from Ky about every 6 weeks. We have been searching
for a "place" to retire and of all the places we have been (including
Florida,Colorado and Texas) Hilton Head seems to fit our needs best. It's on
the coast, nice beaches, plenty of recreational activities, good restuarants
and shopping. And good waterways (we like boating) and bicycle and
walkways!

I simply love HHI. I am 12 years old and I have been going since I was 6 mos. old. We go every year for 3 weeks. It is so beautiful there, and when you arrive you know you are in paradise. There are no high-rise buildings or neon signs. That is what I love. The beaches there are so peaceful, and that is the only way I can live. (go_christin@hotmail.com).

most relaxing vacation ever! We enjoy the restaurants, the beaches,and the

I recently visited Hilton Head for the first time. I was totally
awestruck by the natural beauty of the island. Being from New York, I am very
accustomed to the commercialization of all businesses. It was really great to
see how all of the businesses on HHI are required to advertise with signs that
blend into the surrounding natural beauty of the island. The shopping is
wonderful, the food is great, the people couldn't be nicer and the beaches are
incredibly clean. I am planning on my next HHI vacation already. There is
something for everyone to do on the island.

Hilton Head Island is truly paradise. Please don't ever change anything about Hilton Head. We love the private homes on the beaches, the sea turtles laying their eggs, and rescuing star fish. I have been to Hilton Head Island every summer of my life. I have been to other beaches but nothing compares to the beautiful shores AND the beautiful island of Hilton Head. There are no neon signs, no high rise buildings or Hard Rock Cafes. When you're on Hilton Head, you know you're in paradise. When I go on vacation, I don't want to go to a big city with lots of big signs and amusment parks. That's what I'm trying to get away from! Hilton Head is one of the only beaches left 1 know of in this country to get AWAY from it all. I don't even want to get started on the natural beauty and the ocean and ... I might be typing all day. We've been to HHI numerous timesand have stayed at the Crown Plaza Resort. Summers are much warmer and you can enjoy the sun and pool. March is great for walking and golf, but very quiet. I think you get more out of the area when the temperature is 75+. The Island is great and has much to offer. The first time I visited Hilton Head was back in 1974 with my parents. Since then I have been back many, many times, at first with my parents, now as a parent myself.
